     Seriously, I am going to say it again. There are many, many wonderful universities in Europe. Some even teach in English.

     It’s a hell of a lot cheaper. The standards of scholarship are excellent. You can access a LOT of financial aid.

     And you get to experience life in another country.

     Why the fuck would anyone choose America now? For status? Because I suspect they’re going to lose that damn fast.

     @Remittancegirl Columbia University are a bunch of cowards. They may as well rename the institution Trump University. Utterly shameful that a supposedly world-class university would fail to stand up for the most basic principals of liberal democracy, their nation's constitution and cave when they feel fascism's first breath upon them.

     This is what happens when you turn higher education into a business and abandon all moral, ethical and educational standards as a result.
