   I really dislike "Trump voter has hateful policy enacted on self/family" stories.

   They seem crafted to encourage vengeance in the guise of justice in the people who did not vote Trump.

   But even if we think that there is a microjustice present in these stories, I reject a vision of justice that is contingent on how you voted. [1/2]

     Some academics make a distinction between "microjustice" and "macrojustice." (e.g. https://www.governing.com/gov-institute/voices/col-how-to-reconcile-micro-macro-justice.html )

     Individual acts of perceived microjustice do not add up to macrojustice. That's part of the point of social justice movements.

     Overfocus on vengeance, or even microjustice, is a long way from MAGA, but I see it as a step in their direction.

     At a macro level, these are all injustices. And we should take no delight in witnessing injustices. [2/2]
