The United States has officially put the world on notice that foreign visitors cannot expect due process of any kind. The administration has made clear in recent days that random mistakes, opinions about your politics, or any whim may cause you to be indefinitely detained without representation, labeled a terrorist, physically abused, or deported to a for-profit prison in the third world. This is not an exaggeration and represents only what we know so far.
