   today i saw a wild hog and put my hand on my gun the whole time because i didn't know if i had to use it
   it was snorting and stuff but eventually went away and luckily there weren't 30-50 of them

     @s8n@posting.lolicon.rocks fish and wildlife officer was like 5 minutes behind me i think he'd be unhappy about that even if i wanted bacon
     they did allow hunting in that area tho

     @shibao I think they're invasive so the hog season is year-round in most places. I don't know if you need a permit to hunt invasives

     @shibao I once encountered a wild boar while hiking alone in the forest. at first, I thought it was a large dog until I recognized it. I think it was sleeping, and I woke it up. I also think it was more afraid of me than I was of it. I wanted to take a photo of it, but it left too quickly.
