     There was a lady carrying a small dog in her fleece jacket who was going around handing out free #IdesOfTrump post cards that she would stamp and address to the White House for us. I filled out one for myself, and one for my neighbor whose arthritis keeps him from coming out and standing for hours. Mine said "Hey Trump-- go to hell! Not that you need telling" and...

     ...I'm one of God knows how many USians who recently ordered a Ukrainian flag and it's still in the mail. (I'm seeing even more of those at our protests.)

     Then we heard from some of the original #50501movement organizers and an immigrant who wanted to tell us about his experience coming to this country. He said he initially worked as construction worker and helped build a lot of houses in a town near our city. That town has recently been taking anti-immigrant stances, and he was like...

     ...and kept kinda beating it off beat, but nobody cared. The whole crowd was off beat, all of us, and proud of it.

     I was waving an upside down US flag in distress-- but not because I am a pessimist; quite the opposite. If I were a pessimist I would be sitting at home saying "we're doomed" instead of screaming "FUCK DONALD TRUMP" with thousands of other people.

     That's another peaceful but extremely spirited protest in the books! This one was a little different from the other #50501movement #protests. Instead of starting out with speakers, we started out with a really loose, leaderless crowd that wound up focused around the street out front of the state capitol. We stood there with our signs, chanting SELL YOUR TESLA at any Tesla unfortunate enough to drive by 😂 as well as all the standard anti-Trump and anti-Musk chants. Somebody brought a drum...
