     @azureazure @condret @eris @sun it's the exact opposite in amerikkka. to the point that standards are significantly less likely to be stolen because so few people know how to drive them.
     
     i have personal experience with this -- i drive a kia (from one of the years where they were really easy to steal), and about a year ago someone broke in, ripped open the steering column, started the car.... and then just left it because they couldn't drive it lmfao.

     @sun @condret @azureazure @eris it's fun. you have more fine control over your acceleration. repairing a manual tranny (:hehe:) is cheaper and easier. and usually the vehicles themselves are cheaper as well.
