  The record labels that are suing the @internetarchive@mastodon.archive.org over the Great 78 Project are requesting that the damages rise to around $700 million if they win by adding 500 additional sound recordings.   Listened to a presentation what the #internetarchive is up to these days, such as archiving all the deleted US government pages on climate, inclusion, tolerance etc etc and making it available easily in context to people.
  IMHO it’s just a matter of time until it will be in the cross hairs of the current US administration.
  It deserves your support.
