   I don’t know why people make fun of adults who need to wear diapers. Personally, I’m looking forward to wearing a diaper so I can stare down people while going to the bathroom whenever and wherever the fuck I want.

     It's because we (as a society) use shame to potty train. When it's time to potty train, the message that being in diapers any longer is the most shameful thing in the world. This message is engrained in those formative years, and persists when they encounter an adult who wears diapers for any reason.

     @Alice once of the things that stuck in my head from watching Mythbusters back in the day is that adult diapers are only meant for leaks, they won't hold up to a full release.
