   Hit the bone in my thumb with a small sledge hammer couple of days ago. I actually let out an angry noise and a few bad words.

   I'm positively surprised that the bone didn't break. And a bit surprised that I got such a big cut from a blunt force trauma.

   And so lucky, just an inch below the joint.
   This will heal up just fine in a week.

     I cut my index finger knuckle fixing my bike in November. I now know it will never close fully again.
