   If someone is coin-operated, that’s all you need to know about them. Every decision and action can be explained by that one very simple fact. Needless to say, coin-operated people should never be allowed anywhere near power. Equally needless to say, they too often are.

     @aral Most often, the people who need to be in power, are the ones not seeking it. The reverse is equally true.

     @jeppe We must evolve systems where you do not have to be in power in order to contribute to the wellbeing of society.
