i think there may be a memory leak in fractal, somehow it was taking almost 7gb after running for a week (typical rust software) -

@Inginsub in my experience that just happens in messaging software. Telegram did it (c++), discord too (electron), not yet fractal -

@mischievoustomato i could see someone try to use that excuse if fractal kept the entire message history for the current session in memory (even so, it should take up a few megabytes at most, not gigabytes), but it keeps unloading old messages. this also doesn't happen in gajim despite it storing fucking everything Johnny Peligro likes this. -
