     @mametsuko get a used Google Pixel, either 6a, 7a, 8a (depending on your budget) and install GrapheneOS (it's super easy) or outsource installation to your tech priest. it's the easiest way to get a very secure phone.

     @kaia @mametsuko if you have some time to wait, the 9A should release somewhat soon and the 8a should then be even cheaper. I saw them for ~$250US on Fleabay which is a god price for a phone with 6 remaining years of support.

     I bought a used Galaxy S21FE for like 300 Euros and it's great, you can probably get similar or newer old flagships around that price these days. They're better than new budget phones in my experience

     @mametsuko if you want an iphone you might also get a refurbished iphone xs on ebay, those should be ~160 euro and they are still perfectly fine, i used one until this year.

     @kaia @mametsuko you're right, major os updates will probably end this year. maybe getting an iphone 12 or something would be better then. I just thought of the xs because it's what i had for 5 years and it's still perfectly fine for everything
