@sneeden@iddqd.social People who use Obsidian really are like this. I take notes with vim and txt files.
Also keep pointing out that Obsidian is not actually free software. There seems to be a myth going around that it is for some reason?

@sneeden@iddqd.social I literally had a conversation about this a while ago with one of my interns who is an Obisidian user, he said and I quote "I thought it was open source because it integrates with Github and has a lot of plugins".
That's literally it, please are just blissfully unaware about software licensing. -

@SuperDicq that's weird. They make it very clear they're proprietary, maybe it's confusion because they offer a free tier?
