     @prettygood @swaggboi or at least use better timezone indicators rather than garbage like EST/EDT…. Everything about it is so wrong. it’s some random ass acronym that’s impossible to tell where the hell it is at a glance, and when expanded it also makes no sense because it’s “Eastern Time” but is literally in America, one of the least eastern things in the world

     If it weren’t for DST (burn that shit) one could just say “UTC-5” instead and that wouldn’t need updating across the year but alas. i would probably use something in the format of the TZ variable like America/New_York
