have we considered for a moment that tech bros might actually be less of an enemy than shareholders are :blobcatthonkang:
one wants to build some cool shit because it would be fun to do and he's at worst oblivious about what it does. the other knows and is making it worse on purpose.

there might be some psychological blockers to this because 'shareholders' are marketed as everymen and they tease this with employee stock options and other schemes to make 'you could own this paper' sound desirable. yet shareholders control the board, the board controls the CEO, and the CEO ensures everything continues to be as awful as possible on behalf of the cult of line going up.
in reality a techbro without VC capital and shareholders is a harmless nerd.
