Melekalikimonikathe biggest waste of time in my life, cumulatively, has been hearing/reading something that doesn’t make sense and trying to understand it under the assumption that the problem is that i’m not smart enough to make sense of it, instead of considering that the other person might be expressing themselves poorly, bullshitting, or just has a terrible idea.
