I caught the 3D printing bug. There were many reasons why I put this off too long (intimidation, time, laziness, etc.). All it took was one of my kids to ask, "Dad, can we get a 3D printer?" To which I responded, "I've been waiting my whole life for you to ask that question." Now we have several, and maybe we need some more filament. Which filament do you recommend, and for which applications?

If it's a Bambu printer (which appears to be, based on the boxes) be careful with using glow in the dark filaments in the AMS. I never used them, but I hear they are pretty abrasive and can get stuck in the AMS over time.I've been a happy Bambu owner for a while, and have been using mostly PLA, but over time I've been slowly considering more PET-G. So, at this point, I would say: PLA for decoration or non-touch things, while PET-G for things you need to manipulate, use force, or leave outdoors. I heard TPU is even better, but haven't use those. ABS is extremely strong, but needs appropriate ventilation.
As to brands: Bambu is easy, because of the NFC, but Cookiecad and Polymaker are also great quality brands.

@paulasadoorian Looks like you've got the color wheel covered :) Glow in the dark filaments are fun. If you have a 3d printer that can swap colors, I'd also look into soluble support.

Forgot to mention: the hashtag 3DPrinting is also a good way to get tons of feedback and suggestions.
