   I am a Open Source Enthusiast with a passion for Linux and VR!
   
   Recently I attended FOSDEM 2025 (you can see my slides here!) and while visiting the KDE stand there, I got in touch with one of the KDE representee and now, I am an active member in the KDE Network Japan Community, planning to maybe open a stand at the Open Source Conference in Japan this October!
   
   If that actually happens (I don't know if we'll get approved for a stand yet ><), I am thinking maybe I could post what the stand looks like here on Lemmy (KDE Social).
   
   My main machine is Kubuntu (Ubuntu Studio) so I use KDE everyday. And yes, I prefer KDE over any other DEs because it is the most feature rich DE without compromising the intuitiveness of the user interface. (I mean, I'd recommend Xfce for potatoes though... the choice of DE really does depend on the computer and needs. KDE is the way to go if you want the ultimate setup with everything in my opinion) (Also with KDE, Wayland works out of the box with both VR and Japanese IMEs. GNOME on Vanilla Ubuntu can't even type Japanese soooo... yeah KDE is actually the best)

     @juliangro@social.linux.pizza I love how this reply is a double meaning on Japanese 重い "heavy" meaning both "sluggish" (as in the DE performance) and "clingy" (as in needy girl overdose tone of my writing).
