The one thing I’ve learned about Monterey is, the further you are from Pacific Grove and the closer you are to Seaside, the more flavor there is in the food

Some Seaside faves:
- Barba Azul: excellent Sinaloan seafood tacos and seafood rice
- Mariscos Puerto Nuevo: also a good Mexican seafood place
- Other Brother, Post No Bills: good bars with decent NA selection
- El Pollo Rey: really good grilled chicken and median food
- Taqueria Zarape, Baldemiro’s: all around taquerias
- Noodle Bar: Vietnamese
- Butter House: Filipino-American brunch, so fried rice and pancakes sort of place, good on both sides -
