Jason K Pargin says I'd like to watch "Scavengers Reign" and "Pantheon". He is not always right, but usually is.

@clacke Don't know about Pantheon but Scavengers Reign is fantastic not the usual sci-fi.

@ghostdancer @clacke was coming to say the same thing. Scavengers Reign is like if Raised By Wolves had been written by Adrian Tchaikovsky and it was amazing.

@sam @ghostdancer Oh, interesting. I liked a lot of the worldbuilding of "Raised by Wolves", but over time it became very meandering while also going off the rails.

@ghostdancer @clacke I had a similar feeling with "Raised by Wolves". I absolutely loved it at first, but after a while it felt like too much setup for too little payoff, which was sad because the first season was a lot of fun. I still really enjoyed it though, but I get why they canceled it.

@clacke I liked the first season of "Raised by Wolves" the second one I disconnected around the 2nd episode and left unfinished. It happened to me the same with "Altered Carbon" . Can't tell exactly why but it felt like the story was going nowhere. @sam

@ghostdancer @sam Oh "Altered Carbon" did much better. I'd watch a third season. Being based on a book series always helps.

Now I discovered there's a anime prequel to "Altered Carbon". I will check that out.

I just watched Pantheon. It was good. Scavengers Reign was better.
Weirdly I need to consider shows parables sometimes to not be annoyed by
them. So Pantheon to me was not realistic, but Scavengers Reign was :)

@pkw Maybe I'll watch them in that order then. 😊
