     @rwsjw honestly this feels a bit sad to admit, but I'd most likely be much more mentally strong and in general more responsible/plain better if i had a woman of my own

     @mischievoustomato @rwsjw This is a fundamentally bad mindset that a lot of people fall into. Having a woman doesn't improve your emotional strength or responsibility, at most it can make you emotionally dependant. The emotional role of a girlfriend/wife within the male psyche is to temper ambition and risk-taking, strength and responsibility are entirely internal traits that can only be reinforced through self-actualization.
     
     It's very risky to seek those two things in a relationship, because if anything goes wrong you'll crash really hard.
