   Reading "falsehoods programmers believe about languages" I just remembered my computer uses the Irish locale because it's the only reasonable English available.

   - Euro
   - Week starts in monday
   - Acceptable dates
   - IS units

   It's just ridiculous that I need to configure things like this and there's no reasonable way to do it separately or... idk.

   There are some environment variables but I always end up with issues and warnings in my terminal session.

   It's absurd.

   Thankfully Ireland exists.

     I also remember how annoying Firefox is telling me to translate web pages.
