   Last week, I finished season 1 of Battlestar Galactica for the first time. I found myself worrying that future seasons couldn’t possibly top it.

   Well, I just watched the Season 2 premiere and holy shit!!! All worries decimated.

   This may end up beating out The Expanse.

     @sunumbral true story: the show I’ve been watching before this is Portlandia. And that very episode (with fake Ronald D Moore) is what sparked my interest in finally watching BSG!

     The only reason I'm not binging BSG like an addict at this point is because I'm stopping to listen to the Recommissioned podcast between each episode.

     Note about the Recommissioned podcast: it's a "rewatch" podcast, and what hooked me is the dynamic. One of the hosts has seen the entire series, but the other is watching it for the very first time so there are no spoilers. It makes for very engaging conversations.

     It can be a bit crass, but still recommended.
