   I am both surprised and pleased that senate Democrats stood up, fully unified, for trans people and killed legislation targeting trans students for discrimination in sports.

     I know the latter article wasn't super trans friendly. It's from the Star Tribune which was once a liberal newspaper but was taken over by a conservative douchebag several years ago.
