   @marymessall you don't think, say, Asian Americans at an anti-Asian-hate event might want to highlight Asian American participants, leaders and speakers over people with other backgrounds?

   I don't think it's unreasonable to ask people to let others take the spotlight, especially when those others have problems being seen and heard.

   That said, I agree with you that Jewish people are deeply involved in the war in Gaza and should participate in protests however they want.

     Yes, but only if they choose to. Non-Jews don't need to be telling Jewish people what their roles are. This is kind of a weird poll.
