So now, in order to continue with adult responsibilities on the computer, I must swap the workstation over from using the integrated ATI GPU on this EPYC 4564P to one of the A4000 that was being used for GPU passthrough testing on Bhyve.
Why? There are two 4K 240Hz screens on my desk and I can only drive one of them at 120Hz with the integrated GPU. Originally that was fine, it was a proof of concept to see if I could have three generations of two vendors in the same host without much concern. That PoC has proved sufficient, and now I need to have both screens active at their native res/refresh.
Let's see how well my in-line config notes for pptdev and Xorg are working once the reboot occurs.
