Is liquid soap harder to make than solid? I like supporting small businesses and buying handmade when possible, and a lot of people make soap, but it's all bars, and I do use them sometimes, but I generally prefer body wash.

@Fragglemuppet I believe it uses different chemicals (something related to lye) in the process. And since it contains a lot of water, it is more expensive to package and ship. I used to make my own from bar soap, but it wasn't really the same. You can find recipes online, basically grating soap and adding to boiling water.
