   @kyle I feel like 5% of what I have learned is from college, and the other 95% is from my own research, practice, and manual reading.

     I agree with this idea of training the next generation of white collar tech workers with apprenticeships like the trades.

     What made me most effective in my career wasn't learned in my CS classes, but instead in on-the-job training under more experienced mentors.
