   I appreciate that ESPN's "Futbol Americas" now covers SOUTH America as well as North America. But suggesting that Boca's glory days are behind them, my dudes, they were in the final of the Libertadores less than 2 years ago. They didn't win it, but still.

   They also won the double of the Primera and Copa de la Liga in 2022.

   Come on, guys.

     @reesecommabill tbh I don't think they're wrong. And it's not about Boca but the football in Argentina itself. The financial gap between the Brazilian teams and the Argentine teams is killing their competitiveness in South America. There's only left for them the national championship and national cup which is not enough for a huge team like Boca Juniors :frogDrink:

     @reesecommabill I don't think that's the main reason tbf. Botafogo was the only private owned team in the top 6 best Brazilian teams last season :frogDrink:

     @Ylyej That gap is only going to grow wider. It seems that a lot of investors are looking at investing in Brazilian clubs since they can be owned privately, unlike clubs in Argentina.
