@LoriQuaid Aside from the *it's ok when my team says it* tribalism, it is a valid point.
We have just had a Prime Minister in the UK who has never made a secret of the fact that he owns property in other countries and can move anywhere in a heartbeat, and our current Prime Minister has made no secret of the fact that he prefers a global unelected government to a democratically elected one and values the rights of illegal immigrants over the native population. Now, I don't have a problem with anyone moving anywhere in the world if they have the means/skills/money etc to improve the quality of their lives. My brother did it, my cousins did it.
But when people take public office, I don't think it's a stretch to ask where their loyalties lie, nor do I think it a stretch to expect them to live with the consequences of their policies, especially if they fail.
