   My birth state emailed me and confirmed that my new birth certificate will entirely replace my previous birth certificate. It will not say altered, amended, or corrected. If queried, the state will affirm that it represents the record at birth, and anything else is wrong.

   I don't think the administration will care, but it's very validating. States are fighting back, And that's something.
