     @AgilePreacher @br00t4c I think that might be because the rules in Europe are stricter to begin with. A lot of stuff doesn't fly there. But, I don't know.

"In Article 17, the GDPR outlines the specific circumstances under which the right to be forgotten applies. An individual has the right to have their personal data erased if: The personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose an organization originally collected or processed it." http://gdpr.eu

     @br00t4c Way more reasonable than free range blanket data hoarding rights we've given away to private corporations. I'm conflicted about the Wayback Machine for the same reason especially when it comes to personal social media accounts even though archiving is a big part of my work. The right to be forgotten should apply external to the platform. Official websites and other sites are one thing but personal social media accounts are very problematic also regarding kids.
