     Standing up is a gesture of servitude. Same with wearing nametags. Long ago some company did an experiment: for a month they had everyone stand while wearing a nametag, then another month they took off the nametags while sitting down. Customers treated the same employees much worse while they were standing up.

     @WhitestTemplar @cowanon @maija @lebronjames75 I've always thought name tags quite one of the more degrading things about retail jobs. It's fine if it's embroidered into your work shirt, but it just seems dumb to tack it on with a magnet or pin.
