   @biplanepilot @OmegaVixens I always respect children and even do my best to make sure I'm supporting children in my community.

   For me, "I don't like children" is easier than explaining that, whenever I'm around children, I'm actively managing an anxiety surge because I still feel the echoes of trauma around my own childhood, and mixed into this is knowing that I have no skills in interacting with children and, as I was in a hurry to speedrun growing up, I don't even have a frame of reference.

     @OmegaVixens I really enjoy working with children and youth but even if I didn't, I would still *respect* them.
