   After a year of nursing it along with cleanings, the coffee maker is on its last burp of coffee. It was a good run up until it decided I needed less and less brewed coffee. I don't take well to nannying by machine.

   I'm changing brands. Bye Keurig. Hello Ninja. Smaller, with more features. Also half the price of the old one.

   I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the cleaning schedule or this one will also turn into a nanny, but much sooner.

   Woo-hoo. Planned obsolescence + capitalism = $$$ with wings, again.

   This is why we never get out of debt. Well, this and the most corrupt congress money could buy.

     @steter Went through the cycle. Now using an Italian expresso pot that I've had for 20+ years. No wires of any kind, works great.
