   The point of DOGE is not efficiency.

   It is a propaganda tool.

   Just like Al Gore smashing a $ 600 "unbreakable ashtray" on TV with a hammer

   In case you forgot. Tesla broke an "unbreakable" Cybertruck window during the live grand unveiling.

   Musk's reaction: Ha ha, mistakes happen.

   DOGE needs to find only a single dollar in "savings" to be firmly implanted in the political narrative.

   Tying it to firing thousands of people was not the best idea, and they had to walk back some, but ...🧵

     the right-wing media are running with the numbers and deflecting any criticism to "deep state/Biden/Dems in general".

     Corporate media reporting how exaggerated the numbers are is good. But they won't sustain it, and they failed to stress the propaganda value.

     Putting DOGE in quotation marks is not enough, 🙂.
