   I still got to blog about that time when Google screwed me over about not giving me a year of gemini advanced which came as a bundle with a chromebook. I screwed them back by refunding the chromebook, cancelling yt pro and my recurring gemini advanced sub and getting a copilot+ laptop instead. Basicly went from Google to more Microsoft usage, kinda moving from one evil to the next one. Idk felt like trying out that fancy NPU stuff. Also just can't get warm with Linux desktop, quirks everywhere.

     @SolSoCoG I'm still battling with Nvidia drivers and CUDA, coping with no Dolby Audio and my computer sometimes just shuts down by itself. Aside of that, I'm still using some Windows for some tasks and consulting GPT. I feel your struggle 😔

     @Lu yeah. I had a Soundblaster card which just wouldn't work at all, a Bluetooth speaker with .. SBC codec which would spasm and another speaker with AAC codec which would for some reason lower the audio pitch. And don't get me started on my Wacom tablet. It nearly bricked my system when I tried adding the driver. It is what it is. But the idea of windows on servers? Not in my wildest dreams. Well I'm forced to every now and then touch a windows server for a gaming community but that's it.

     @SolSoCoG just unearthed my OpenSuSE Tumbleweed Laptop, somewhat accidentally. So far so good. No complaints.
