Please stop with this. He said why: he was born in 1988 and 88 is a lucky number in Taiwan, his country of origin.

I've never heard about it, but ok, anyway, why do you think it's very likely that a non-white Asian immigrant born in 1988 and from a culture (China/Taiwan) where 88 is the lucky number, be a nazi because he uses his birth year in his nickname?
Most people probably have an account on the internet where they use their birth year for their username. This is one of the most common things we see on the web.
Folks, sorry but on that one, you're being REALLY bad

@gelbphoenix @Infoseepage
Its not.
There are millions of cars driving around with 88 as the number on their plate.
88 stands for the eight letter in the alphabet which is "H"
NeoNazis use it on their shirts to say "Heil Hitler"
Its more of a sign to express being in the Nazi scene.
In this context it has probably nothing to do with "Nazi" -

I am sorry but you are creating all sorts of conspiration theories here. If its his birth year, than that is the simplest and most probable reason. People like you are really the reason why mastodon got much worse. Find the worst in person you dont like and spread it everywhere anyone will listen. But that they provide free tools to people that doesn't otherwise have access to free speech and/or are at risk, even with (1/2) -

Wow... he said that not to make alibi but to show that it's a moot point to trying to figure out what political allegiance anyone in the company is. You are really reading things that are not there.
