     @lari phew! this is not easy! so you might be able to get one of the subfolder enabled for ActivityPub, but Mastodon requires WebFinger and WebFinger needs to be configured for the domain root!

     @pfefferle What about multisites using subdirectories? On our website evl.fi and evl.fi/plus are different sites in a multisite installation. Is it still possible to install ActivityPub plugin for evl.fi?

     @pfefferle We need to have it working just for the website at the domain root, so do you think it still needs some extra configuration?
