   I called my brokerage to get my 2FA token changed. After confirming my verbal password twice and asking me a series of identifying questions (e.g. where's my dad live, what color is my car, etc), they then told me they couldn't finish verifying the account until I put "Mr. Aultman" on so he could approve. I responded "Hm, I *am* <full legal name>, the account holder, though I see my voice threw you off." Just wild how a little voice practice now makes me my own wife or something. #trans

     @KatS There's also something weirdly patriarchal about it, but it's not like that's the first time transition has uncovered unexpected bits of patriarchy.
