With Trump and the U.S. dissolving NATO, I would expect that in the future, oil won't be traded in dollars anymore since U.S. influence is decreasing. There is no protection incentive anymore and the U.S. market itself is becoming less accessible.

With that happening, I would think the dollar's reserve status is threatened and a debt crisis is looming. Printing money won't be a way out.

It will be a moment when people realize on whose backs the U.S. has been living.
