@sendai @PepperTheVixen windows, unfortunately. Linux desktop accessibility can best be described as "nope". When Solaris 10 on a SPARC has better and more consistent desktop accessibility than Linux... admittedly we haven't actually sat down with a Linux machine with a GUI to play in a while, so we might be wrong, but it's never been *good*

@freya @sendai @PepperTheVixen it's still that way basically. Sun was the last company to seriously invest into the linux accessibility. Not even out of the goodness of their own hearts, but as a requirement for government contracts. Things have essentially just been bitrotting since then with the demise of them and the workstation market.
Some folks mostly from GNOME have started a new modern stack (Newton) recently, but imo it'll be a long while before any improvements get plumbed through.
