   @PepperTheVixen @mastoblind No, it has not. It has maybe even gotten worse since the advent of Gtk4 and Wayland.

   At this point, MATE is the only screen reader kinda-compatible desktop environment.

     That's a real shame. Thanks to the #Mate folks for still being active.
     
     I'm wondering: Any other opinions about what DE could be usable? Or which one totally not?
