     @newblue @icscarythings ok found it, you need go into "advanced settings" in your user settings and then pick "linear-view", which is the first drop-down option under "Posts Look & Feel".
     
     I don't necessarily hate tree-view, but its nice to be able to bounce back to old-style. cc @gamercat i updated the FE, you might want to know about this before you freak out
