I have to break myself of the habit of rinsing dishes before loading them into the dishwasher. This "just scrape" stuff seems insufficient, but manufacturers say otherwise. They've gone to a lot of trouble to design machines that will, when properly operated, strip paint.

I remember the hot water. It just turns cold too fast at this time of year. I'm reluctantly using a Hi-Temp setting. PGE loves my dishwasher.
