@hidden You're the expert on trees around here, and I got questions. I want to plant some trees, but I got uncooperative neighbors that like to chop them down for the timber. So I was thinking it might be a good idea to grow them in a way that they were not worth chopping them down for timber. Is this feasible?
I guess I could always send them a package, but I'm looking for alternatives :thinkbird:

@maija @cine @hidden You can also put a few pieces of rebar around the tree while it's small, it'll grow around and no chainsaw will go through it.

@cine @hidden the classic environmentalist method here is tree spiking, driving a number of long nails in the tree which make it difficult to cut down, potentially damage equipment, and depending on how its done can be very difficult to remove
