This is my favorite Thai restaurant in LA Thai town.
I go there with my Thai friend, who tells them in the NE Thai dialect to please make the papaya salad so spicy that I can’t eat it and my friend will need to go to the bathroom immediately.
And they do, and it’s glorious. And it’s better and spicier than the vast majority of.. even Bangkok restaurants haha (on par with good restaursnts in Isaan)

@skinnylatte I was excited to try Jitlada since it’s one of a few southern Thai restaurants, but yeah I wasn’t that impressed. Southern Thai places are so hard to come by here and there’s just so many central and Isaan places 😅
