Instead of privatization we should be doing more publicization…bring more into the commons.
Governments should provide non profit low cost hospitals, dental, housing, health insurance, social media platforms (like have their own fediverse instances) grocery stores, drug stores, gas etc. Of course this is what they feared about communism, but it’s capitalists that feared it. Alternatively Government can choose to fund ONLY non profit independent business & cooperatives with public funds.
