     "I'm worse off than you so you have to do what I say" is a well-worn conservative tactic of trying to hijack left politics and empathy to control people. Like, every MAGA chud making six figures and driving an expensive pickup truck thinks they're the "real victims." TERFs love that shit, too. It's trite and manipulative.
