if they did that they'd absolutely get a completely new wave of complaints "why this looks so ugly" "why does it not match my setup" "why does it look different make it look the same" all to bring in halfassed support for a feature that realistically only ever existed on x11

"you don't have to support it, just put it there" is one of the biggest lies in programming, no matter what it *always* takes effort
